Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Facilities Maintenance Assistant to join our team in Fairbanks, Alaska. As a member of our facilities team, you will play a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities.

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities
  • Performing light maintenance tasks, such as changing light bulbs and fixing minor issues
  • Assisting with laundry and linen removal
  • Restocking supplies and amenities as needed

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 6 months of experience in cleaning or maintenance work
  • The ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, and callouts as needed
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

Estimated Salary Range: $25,000 - $35,000 per year

Work Environment: Assisted living setting, moderate weather conditions, lifting up to 35 pounds
