Arms Acres is currently looking for dedicated individuals to join our Security Department. The Safety and Security Specialists are tasked with ensuring a safe and secure atmosphere for all patients, staff, and visitors in accordance with our facility's policies and regulatory standards. These professionals will investigate incidents and prepare detailed reports regarding any complaints or disturbances. Safety and Security Specialists are responsible for safeguarding the premises and assets from theft or damage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a secure environment for all facility occupants.
- Conduct thorough investigations of security incidents.
- Prepare and submit comprehensive reports on security-related matters.
- Monitor and control access to the facility.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in security or law enforcement.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Proficient in reading and writing English, with the ability to follow verbal instructions.
- New York State Security Guard License.
- Familiarity with basic security protocols and fire safety procedures.
- Basic computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Physical ability to lift and/or move weights ranging from 10 to 50 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
- Certification in BLS or CPR is preferred.

Salary Range: $19-20 based on experience and education.
