Position Summary – Maintenance Technician

OGH is seeking a dedicated full-time Maintenance Technician to oversee our properties in the Austin region. Our portfolio includes approximately 25 residential and commercial properties across the DFW and Austin areas, serving over 150 tenants. This role involves daily travel to various properties within the Austin market. Candidates must possess reliable transportation to the management office. A work vehicle will be provided for property visits. The ideal candidate should be adept at managing subcontractors and suppliers as necessary. The Maintenance Technician must exhibit exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to complete daily work orders with minimal supervision. Our office utilizes Yardi for maintenance order management, and the technician will be required to use the app for daily tasks and to report completion details.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform minor painting and drywall repairs
  • Change light bulbs as needed
  • Conduct minor plumbing repairs
  • Maintain property cleanliness
  • Assist with other maintenance projects as required

Qualifications

  • General knowledge of maintenance repair and service
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required
  • Proficient in reading and writing English
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment
  • Capable of working independently while also collaborating within a team
  • Valid driver's license is necessary
