Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified individual to join our After School Program team as a After School Program Staff. The successful candidate will be responsible for facilitating hands-on activities, providing a safe and healthy environment, and communicating with parents and family members.

Responsibilities
  • Facilitate hands-on activities following the Healthy Kids Curriculum
  • Provide a safe, healthy, and fun environment for children
  • Communicate daily with parents and family members via the Playground App
  • Observe state guidelines, Healthy Kids Extended Day Program policies, and host school policies
  • Certain positions may also perform management functions such as accurate attendance records, registration, and staffing
Requirements
  • Minimum qualifications: 18 years or older, High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1 year of experience working with children under 13 (not required)
  • Background check, including fingerprinting, references, SEL & SCR through NYS Office of Children and Family Services
  • Medically fit to perform job duties and free of any communicable diseases
  • Warm, friendly, and upbeat personality with exceptional people skills
