Key Responsibilities
  • Assist pharmacists and other healthcare providers in delivering patient care and services, including patient counseling and medication therapy management.
  • Learn to provide excellent customer service and engage with customers to ensure a positive experience.
  • Develop strong relationships with customers and team members.
  • Perform duties as assigned and supervised by the pharmacist, including entering, third-party processing, filling, and dispensing prescriptions.
  • Assist with inventory management, including ordering, unpacking, checking, and storing shipments of pharmaceuticals.
  • Maintain a clean and organized pharmacy environment.
  • Complete required training and maintain knowledge and skills in healthcare and pharmacy.
Requirements
  • Must be enrolled in a school of Pharmacy program.
  • Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
  • Prefer to have prior work experience with Walgreens.
  • Prefer good math skills to accurately fill prescriptions.
What We Offer

Walgreens offers a competitive hourly salary range of $16.50 - $25.00 per hour, depending on location, skills, and experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a 401(k) plan.
