Job Summary

We are seeking an integrated track faculty member for a tenure track position at the level of Assistant, Associate, or Senior Professor to join our Integrated Mathematical Oncology (IMO) department. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse team of scientists and clinicians focused on using an integrated team science approach to better understand, predict, and treat cancer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with a highly integrated and translational research community to develop novel approaches for the treatment and understanding of cancer.
  • Interact directly with clinicians through our Evolutionary Tumor Board and the Center of Excellence in Evolutionary Therapy.
  • Develop a collaborative research program, working across disciplines, leveraging Moffitt's vast data resources to accelerate discoveries across the basic, clinical, quantitative, and population sciences.
Requirements
  • Experience in developing and implementing mathematical models relevant for cancer research.
  • Experience with collaborative team science across disciplines.
  • History of publications relevant to cancer research.
  • Grant funding success/experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in Radiation Oncology.
About the Ideal Candidate

We are seeking a highly motivated and accomplished researcher with a strong track record of publications in cancer research, mathematical biology, and mathematical/computational oncology. The ideal candidate will have a Ph.D. or M.D. in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or a related field and relevant research training and experience in mathematical model development.
