Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team as a Dedicated Geriatric Nurse Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients in our rehabilitation services unit.

  • You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • You will assist in ensuring the best possible patient outcomes by assisting nursing personnel during their assigned work hours.
  • You may be required to take call for staffing coverage and assist with infection control for the unit.
  • You will adhere to all regulations pertaining to cleanliness, infection control, and Standard Precaution.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A current, valid license as a Licensed Practical Nurse in North Carolina.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work well under pressure and make decisions regarding nursing and unit problems.
  • CPR certification yearly and attendance at in-service training and other staff meetings as required.
  • The ability to read, know, and follow personnel, department, and facility policies and procedures.
