Job Summary:

The Residential Treatment Unit Specialist will be responsible for supervising and managing the behavior of clients, providing individual and group counseling sessions, and coordinating recreational activities. This is a full-time position that requires a strong commitment to delivering high-quality care and support to our clients.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and manage client behavior, providing appropriate interventions and consequences.
  • Coordinate and supervise client recreational activities.
  • Monitor client service records and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and present patient lectures and facilitate group discussions.
  • Consult with the treatment team to plan daily therapeutic direction.
  • Read and review client logs and obtain pertinent information from previous shifts.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent and one year of addiction treatment experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Certified Addictions Counselor (CADC) or ability to obtain certification within 24 months.
