The estimated salary for this role is $85,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.

Job Description:

We are looking for a results-oriented professional to help us optimise our marketing efforts and drive business growth. As a Data-Driven Marketing Strategist, you will be responsible for gathering, analysing, and interpreting data related to market trends, customer behaviour, and campaign performance.

You will work closely with the marketing team to provide actionable insights and recommendations that will inform strategic decisions and improve the effectiveness of marketing campaigns. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Analyse data from various marketing channels (e.g., digital, social media, email, paid media) to assess the performance of campaigns and initiatives.
  • Develop reports and dashboards that track key marketing metrics such as ROI, conversion rates, and customer acquisition costs.
  • Provide insights on customer segments, behaviours, and trends to help shape targeted marketing strategies.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to identify opportunities for optimisation and improvement based on data-driven insights.
  • Conduct competitive analysis and market research to inform strategic marketing decisions.
  • Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend innovative approaches to marketing.
  • Support budget planning and forecasting by providing data on the performance of marketing spend.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to both marketing and non-marketing stakeholders in a clear and actionable format.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience (2+ years) as a Marketing Analyst or in a similar data-driven role.
  • Strong proficiency with analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Microsoft Excel, Tableau, or other business intelligence tools.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo, Salesforce) is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to derive insights from complex data.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present findings to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Knowledge of SEO, SEM, social media, and email marketing strategies is preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
