Job Summary
SBM Management Services is seeking a skilled Industrial Equipment Operator to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely operating industrial equipment, including tuggers, forklifts, street sweepers, and scrubber sweepers.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain current forklift training and certification as required by company policies.
- Operate lifting devices to load, unload, or stack material.
- Transport material or equipment to and from designated areas in the facility.
- Move goods packed on pallets or in crates around the storage facility.
- Load and unload goods from vehicles and stack material in the correct storage bays.
- Inventory materials on the work floor and supply workers with materials as needed.
- Weigh materials or products and record weight on tags, labels, or production schedules.
- Check loads are secure and maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Perform daily equipment checks.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least six months of related experience and/or training.
- Valid Driver's license and clean driving record.
- Forklift certification and completion of all safety and task training certification.
Work Environment
This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday, 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM. The compensation for this role is $17.41 per hour.
