Audio Recording Program Support Assistant

Position Overview
The role involves providing essential support to the Audio Recording Program at The College of Southern Nevada. Responsibilities include overseeing Open Lab sessions in the Computer Music Classroom, organizing and maintaining audio equipment, setting up classrooms and related technology, and performing general housekeeping duties. Additional tasks may involve minor administrative duties and assisting with software maintenance and upgrades, with training provided as necessary.
Relevant Experience
This position offers valuable experience that aligns with the following Degree/Certificate Programs:
- Certificate of Achievement in Music Business and Technology
Essential Qualifications
Applicants must possess a foundational understanding of audio principles, terminology, and the hardware and software utilized in audio recording. Strong interpersonal skills and a solid work ethic are crucial for success in this role.
Preferred Qualifications
Preference will be given to candidates with advanced computer skills and a comprehensive knowledge of audio equipment. Students currently enrolled in the Audio Recording Program are highly encouraged to apply.
Employment Status
This position is not exempt from the Work Study program, and the full-time equivalent is 48.8%.
