Job Summary

P2S Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Cost Accountant to join our team. As a Cost Accountant, you will play a critical role in managing the financial aspects of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Analysis: Gather and compile cost information, maintain databases, and develop systems for accumulation and cost accounting functions.
  • Cost Management: Determine fixed costs, predict and record variable costs, and review actual costs to identify inaccuracies.
  • Budgeting and Reporting: Prepare departmental and company-wide budgeting reports, review and analyze actual profit margins, and perform month-end and year-end closings.
  • Cost-Effective Solutions: Determine and recommend cost-effective solutions, provide product sample costs for marketing and general accounting, and perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • Experience: Minimum 1-3 years of accounting experience in public and/or private industry.
  • Skills: Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), experience with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) overhead, and CPA certification (plus).
