Vaco is seeking a highly skilled Project Cost Controller to join our team. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for driving accountability, profitability, and efficient project accounting management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage project budgets and forecasts
  • Prepare and review general journal entries for large construction projects
  • Review project gross margins on a monthly/quarterly basis and identify variances
  • Oversee accuracy of project billing and AR according to contracts
  • Manage indirect costs and provide additional financial schedules for monthly financial reporting packages
  • Prepare project financial reports, KPIs, and performance metrics
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of accounting experience with a focus on project costing
  • Prior experience in the construction or engineering industry
  • Managerial experience with a proven track record of success
