Lead Electrical Engineer specializing in AutoCAD and Revit

VTekis Consulting LLP is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role requires a deep understanding of electrical engineering principles and the ability to manage complex projects effectively.
QualificationsEssential Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in consulting Electrical Engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) registration is mandatory.
- Experience with Department of Defense design projects is preferred.
- Proven ability to supervise and manage projects of various scales.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and writing skills.
The successful candidate will:
- Generate comprehensive construction documents, including detailed drawings, power system analyses, and specifications.
- Oversee the design execution, including medium and low voltage AC and DC systems, single line diagrams, electrical layouts, and equipment placement.
- Lead the design of both interior and exterior lighting, ensuring compliance with IESNA standards through footcandle calculations.
- Engage with clients during meetings, providing engineering support throughout the design and construction phases, including addressing comments from Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJ), reviewing shop drawings, and responding to Requests for Information (RFIs).
- Conduct thorough reviews of deliverables, ensuring quality assurance and quality control throughout the design and construction processes.
- Act as a technical resource for internal teams.
- Demonstrate the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Exhibit strong critical thinking, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Contribute positively to the overall goals, culture, and morale of the office and department.
Experience with AutoCAD and Revit is essential, and RCDD certification is a valuable asset.
