Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Advocate Specialist to join our team at Lincare Holdings. This role is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and working closely with medical professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Outcome-Based Solutions: Provide solutions that cater to the needs of physician referral sources and existing patient populations, ensuring seamless patient care.
  • Order Management: Submit new orders and monitor their completion from initiation to setup, collaborating with clinical, sales, and service departments.
  • Billing and Setup: Prepare and analyze billing and setup paperwork for patient services, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
  • Troubleshooting and Support: Work closely with existing patients to troubleshoot issues, identify solutions, and dispatch corrective action through relevant departments.
  • Product Recommendations: Collect patient information and analyze customer needs to recommend potential products or services to management.
  • New Hire Training: Actively participate in the training of new customer service and sales personnel.
Requirements:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Work Experience: Proven work experience required.
  • Market Knowledge: Ability to learn and apply market and product information, as well as patient billing and insurance requirements.
  • Multitasking: Capable of multitasking and handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in computer and technological literacy.
  • Personal Image: Positive and professional personal image.

This role requires occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds.
