Your Role

As a Senior Managing Consultant, you will integrate into our global Air & Climate team, assisting clients with a variety of intricate and demanding environmental challenges.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Building and maintaining client relationships while overseeing the development of deliverables that align with client requirements efficiently;
  • Managing projects, client interactions, and relationships with regulatory agencies;
  • Conducting thorough reviews and interpretations of local, state, and federal environmental regulations, compiling and drafting regulatory applicability assessments, and communicating findings to colleagues, clients, and regulatory bodies;
  • Estimating emissions and performing engineering evaluations of air pollution sources;
  • Supervising the preparation of comprehensive federal and state air permit application materials;
  • Acting as the technical lead, guiding Consultant-level staff on complex projects;
  • Participating in local, national, and international scientific and trade group meetings;
  • Conducting site assessments; and
  • Ensuring compliance with Ramboll and client safety training and workplace safety protocols.

You will engage with team members of varying levels of expertise, from entry-level staff to seasoned professionals, many of whom are recognized experts in their respective fields. About You

  • B.S. or M.S. in Chemical, Mechanical, Civil, or Environmental Engineering or a related scientific discipline
  • 15-20 years of experience in air quality, primarily within a consulting context, with a focus on the pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, and life sciences sectors
  • Proficient computing skills, including advanced use of spreadsheets and word processing software
  • Strong written and verbal communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities
  • Proven capability in understanding, interpreting, and applying environmental regulations to practical scenarios
  • Programming, database, and GIS skills are advantageous but not mandatory

Salary Transparency Statement

At Ramboll, your base salary is just one component of your overall compensation package. At the time of this posting, this role is anticipated to offer an annual base salary between $130,000 and $158,000. Actual compensation may vary based on several factors, including experience, location, internal equity, market conditions, education, and skill level, and does not include bonuses, overtime, or other forms of compensation or benefits.
