Facilities Operations Specialist

Daycon Products Co., Inc. is seeking a skilled Facilities Operations Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will provide operational support to our Onsite Properties team, ensuring seamless logistics and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service to Onsite Properties customers, including property managers, service managers, and engineers.
- Support the Onsite Properties team by performing will calls, organizing and resetting customer shops, and participating in shop set-ups for new customers.
- Travel daily throughout MD, DC, and VA to assigned customer locations, ensuring timely and efficient service delivery.
- Lead or assist in the organization of existing shops, including building shelves, bin boxes, sorting, and identifying parts, creating location databases, and setting min/max levels.
- Collaborate with the Operations & Sales team to set up new clients, including identifying products, establishing min/max levels, setting up shelves, and labeling bins.
- Provide emergency deliveries as directed by the Field Services Manager, ensuring prompt and reliable service.
- Offer ongoing feedback to Daycon/Onsite leadership regarding customer trends or process improvement, driving continuous growth and excellence.
Requirements:
- 1-3 years of experience providing field-based customer support.
- Ability to professionally engage with customers in the field, building strong relationships and trust.
- Willingness to spend the majority of workdays with local travel throughout MD, DC, and VA.
- Basic computer proficiency, with ability to learn and adapt to new systems and tools.
- Keen attention to detail and organizational skills, ensuring accurate and efficient service delivery.
- Basic math skills, including multiplication, division, and fractions.
- Ability to work independently and as a team, collaborating with colleagues to achieve shared goals.
- Bilingual Spanish/English a plus, but not required.
- A valid Driver's License and safe driving history, with ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
Physical Demands and Working Environment:
- Frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds, with ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
- Occasional exposure to toxic or caustic chemicals, with proper safety protocols in place.
- Regularly required to work in an office, warehouse, or outdoor environment, with ability to adapt to changing conditions.
- Specific vision abilities required, including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
- While performing the duties of this position, employees regularly drive to customer locations and work in other warehouse/storeroom environments.
- Position will require employees to travel between sites in all types of weather, with ability to work in various conditions.
