Speech Language Pathologist Job Description

Rehab America is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for assessing and treating patients with swallowing or speech-language disorders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine patients' levels of function in speech, language, cognition, and swallowing
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patients' needs
  • Participate in patient care conferences and family conferences to ensure effective communication and collaboration
  • Contribute to program development and implementation to enhance patient care and outcomes

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
  • Current CPR certification and valid driver's license
  • Experience working with geriatric patients preferred
