Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Optometrist to join our team at LensCrafters Marshalls Plaza in Syracuse, NY. As an Optometrist Leader, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care, leading a team of optometrists, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead by Example: Demonstrate a strong commitment to quality patient care and lead by example in all aspects of your work.
  • Collaborate with the Team: Work closely with the MOD, SMM, and other team members to ensure seamless execution and achieve business results.
  • Drive Business Growth: Develop and implement strategies to increase sales, improve patient satisfaction, and enhance the overall patient experience.
  • Provide Exceptional Patient Care: Conduct thorough eye exams, provide accurate diagnoses, and recommend treatment options that meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Developments: Stay current with the latest advancements in optometry and technology to ensure you are providing the best possible care for your patients.
  • Lead and Develop the Team: Provide guidance, training, and feedback to team members to help them grow and develop in their roles.
  • Maintain a Positive Work Environment: Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes teamwork, respect, and open communication.
Requirements
  • Doctor of Optometry: Must be a licensed Doctor of Optometry with a strong commitment to quality patient care.
  • Leadership Experience: Must have experience leading a team of optometrists and have a proven track record of success in a leadership role.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with patients, team members, and other stakeholders.
  • Business Acumen: Must have a strong understanding of business principles and be able to develop and implement strategies to drive business growth.
