Job Summary

Kongsberg Defense & Aerospace, Inc. is seeking a skilled Electro-Mechanical Assembler to join our team in Johnstown, PA. As a key member of our Final Assembly/System Integration department, you will be responsible for performing electro-mechanical assembly operations on Remote Weapon Stations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble electro-mechanical components using hand tools and test equipment, following step-by-step work instructions.
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues using wiring schematics and identify deficiencies in supplied and manufactured materials.
  • Document deficiencies in our Improve database and report progress to the Final Assembly Lead.
  • Support and participate in training and cross-training initiatives.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree preferred.
  • 1-2 years of prior manufacturing production experience preferred.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including internal computer systems, email, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work from prints, procedures, assembly diagrams, sketches, schematics, and verbal-written instructions.
