Kongsberg Defense & Aerospace, Inc. is seeking a skilled Electro-Mechanical Assembler to join our team in Johnstown, PA. As an Electro-Mechanical Assembler, you will be responsible for performing Electro-Mechanical assembly operations to Remote Weapon Stations (RWS).
Key Responsibilities- Perform Electro-Mechanical assembly operations using basic hand tools and test equipment following step-by-step work instructions.
- Troubleshoot electrical problems using wiring schematics, identify deficiencies and concerns in supplied and internally manufactured materials.
- Document deficiencies in the Improve database.
- Report progress and discrepancies to the Box Build Lead.
- Support and participate in training and cross-training.
We are looking for a candidate with a high school diploma/GED equivalent, with 1-2 years of prior manufacturing production experience preferred. Basic computer proficiencies, such as using internal computer systems, email, and Microsoft Office Suite are necessary. The ability to work from prints, procedures, assembly diagrams, sketches, schematics, and/or verbal-written instructions is required.
