Jewelers at Helzberg Diamonds are responsible for delivering exceptional jewelry repair services to clients in a timely manner, supporting store sales and the five-star shopping experience. Key responsibilities include:

  • Contributing to the efficient movement of client repairs while maintaining quality and turn-around time acceptable to the client.
  • Ensuring gold stock, findings, and loose stones are properly maintained and accounted for by accurately completing paperwork and storing materials.
  • Properly managing supply expense dollars by maintaining adequate inventory levels without excess.
  • Contributing to maximizing financial returns from precious metal recoveries by following proper asset recovery procedures.
  • Adhering to safety-related procedures to reduce the risk of accidents.
  • Ensuring consistency in communicating repair information by assisting in training store associates on repair policies and procedures.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • An Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, two to four years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of jeweler's tools, machinery, and equipment, along with advanced jewelry repair knowledge.
  • The ability to make good decisions and possess strong problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • The ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
