Job Title: Electronics Installation Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Electronics Installation Specialist to join our team at Paladin Technologies. As an Electronics Installation Specialist, you will be responsible for installing, terminating, and testing equipment according to specifications and building codes. You will also be responsible for repairing, restoring, and testing systems, as well as communicating with project managers to ensure timely delivery of projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Install, terminate, and test equipment according to specifications and building codes
  • Repair, restore, and test systems
  • Communicate with project managers to ensure timely delivery of projects
  • Work with project managers to ensure complete closeout and turnover of jobs to the client and service department
  • Work with field engineers on startup to ensure complete system compliance
  • Responsible for training apprentices on company procedures, systems, and installation techniques
  • Available to work outside of normal business hours

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years working in the electronic field with daily use of AC/DC theory
  • Ability to read blueprints and schematics
  • Valid US driver's license with acceptable record
  • Ability to pass pre-employment screening

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associates degree (2 year) in a technical capacity
  • 3+ years working in the electronic field with daily use of AC/DC theory
  • Basic computer skills including MS Office Suite
  • Aptitude for learning system programming

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to effectively communicate, (i.e. see, hear, speak and write clearly) in order to communicate with employees and/or customers; manual dexterity required for frequent reaching, climbing, bending, squatting and lifting of moderate objects, operation of power and manual tools/equipment, and operating office equipment.

Working Conditions:

  • Site work job conditions are similar to typical construction projects. Work at required heights utilizing ladders, scaffolding, lifts, or other. Work in confined spaces as necessary.
  • Additional environments include office spaces, medical, industrial, warehouse, parking ramps, and other.
  • Outdoor work including occasional adverse weather conditions or cold/heat temperatures may be required.
  • Travel required, mostly day trips but may include overnight hotel stays.

Pay: $35.00/hour (DOE)
