About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Chemist Intern to join our team at Ineos Group Ltd. As a Chemist Intern, you will play a key role in supporting our laboratory operations and contributing to the development of new processes and technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with senior chemists to develop and implement projects that improve laboratory methods, reduce variability, and increase efficiency.
  • Support day-to-day laboratory operations, including troubleshooting and maintaining equipment.
  • Conduct experiments and analyze data to inform process improvements.
Requirements
  • Actively enrolled in a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree program in Chemistry at an accredited university.
  • 3.0 or greater GPA out of a 4.0 is required.
  • Completion of minimum 2 years of chemistry and chemistry lab courses.
Desired Skills and Competencies
  • Strong analytical skills with basic knowledge of process and laboratory chemistry.
  • Strong safety mindset.
  • Familiarity with analytical instrumentation and techniques.
  • Effective communication, both written and verbal.
  • Statistical knowledge.

  • Self-starter who can work independently, make necessary decisions, and follow through with action plans.

  • Willingness to work 40hrs/week in a chemical plant laboratory. Ability to climb ladders and stairs.
