Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Technologist to join our laboratory team at HCA Houston Healthcare Mainland. As a Medical Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care by performing routine, complex, or specialized bacteriological, hematological, chemical, immunological, serological, and immunoassay procedures on body fluids.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of laboratory tests and procedures to analyze body fluids and tissues.
  • Communicate effectively with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of patient care and meet the needs of our patients.
  • Demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail in all testing performed.
  • Perform related quality control and required proficiency testing according to policy and procedure.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in a Chemical, Physical, Biological, or Medical Technology/Clinical Laboratory Science (MT/CLS) from an accredited institution.
  • MLT (ASCP) or equivalent certification.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a clinical laboratory setting.
