The Food Service Assistant plays a crucial role in aiding the waitstaff by transporting beverages and meal items to designated tables.

Summary of Responsibilities

• Promptly and accurately deliver food orders to patrons

• Maintain hygiene and food safety standards

• Clear tables by removing used dishes and waste

• Engage with customers to ensure a pleasant dining experience

• Communicate feedback regarding customer satisfaction to management

• Ensure diners have all necessary tableware for an enjoyable meal

• Assist in setting up tables with the appropriate utensils, napkins, and decor

• Address various spontaneous requests from guests

Knowledge, Skills, and Personal Attributes

• Strong interpersonal and customer service abilities

• Highly organized with the capability to excel in a fast-paced setting

Education and Experience

• Must be at least 21 years of age

• Previous experience in a restaurant environment is preferred

• Completion of Food Handlers and BASSET Certification is required
