Job Summary
At Discovery Point - Hamilton Mill, we are seeking a skilled Cook/Floater to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and serving meals and snacks to our children. Your attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will be essential in ensuring the highest quality of service.

Key Responsibilities
• Prepare and serve meals and snacks according to approved menus and health and safety standards.
• Ensure compliance with federal CACFP standards, if applicable.
• Assist in classrooms when needed, providing support and relief to teachers and staff.
• Float in classrooms to give breaks or close down classrooms as needed.

Requirements
• Meet state licensing requirements for education and experience.
• Ability to be trained in food service certification, CPR, Fire Safety, and Nutrition.
• Pass state background check requirements.
• Experience in childcare and teaching is preferred.
