Main Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the supervising Speech-Language Pathologist to implement tailored therapy plans aimed at meeting students' speech and language needs.
- Engage directly with students to enhance their articulation, phonology, language comprehension, and social communication skills.
- Support screenings and assessments to identify students necessitating speech and language services.
- Maintain precise records of therapy sessions and student progress to track interventions effectively.
- Effectively communicate with educational staff, parents, and team members to ensure optimal student progress.
Requirements:
- Holder of a Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or a related field.
- Possession of certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) in Virginia.
