Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a software engineer and technical support expert for laboratory certification systems and related applications.
- Collaborate with teams to integrate web portal solutions for laboratory operations.
- Support the enhancement and upgrade of existing laboratory information systems.
- Facilitate the transition to new laboratory information management systems.
- Engage with technical teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment with specifications and requirements.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation as required.
- Stay updated with necessary technical skills to support departmental systems.
- Ensure all deliverables meet the required standards and protocols.
- Monitor and resolve system errors, implement code fixes, and validate data integrity.
- Troubleshoot performance issues across server, application, and database environments.
- Create and modify software code in accordance with business needs while adhering to best practices.
- Assist in software build and release processes for various laboratory systems.
- Support technical activities related to system transitions and upgrades.
- Maintain documentation that aligns with established best practices and standards.
- Follow the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) as defined by organizational guidelines.
- Utilize project management tools for workflow and code repository management.
- Provide regular status updates as per organizational requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in web-focused software development using Microsoft .NET and SQL Server.
- Proficient in designing and managing complex SQL Server databases, including SSIS and SSRS.
- Experience with Microsoft's Entity Framework and web application development using Razor pages is advantageous.
- Familiarity with the healthcare sector, particularly in health information technology, is preferred.
- Previous experience in government-related projects is a plus.
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is desirable.

This position offers a hybrid work model, primarily remote with occasional on-site requirements.
