About the Role

Dephy Inc., a pioneering robotics design firm, is seeking an experienced Senior Controls Engineer to drive innovation in wearable robotics. This exciting opportunity will challenge your technical expertise and passion for problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead complex controls projects from concept to delivery, leveraging real-time software development and optimization techniques.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop cutting-edge control solutions for Dephy's wearable robotics devices.
  • Determine and implement optimal pattern recognition, sensor fusion, data analysis, and machine learning strategies to address real-world challenges.
  • Design and integrate high-level decision-making and motion control systems for robotic applications, including autonomous vehicles, drones, and industrial robots.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in engineering or science, with 3 years of professional experience, or Bachelor's degree in engineering or science, with 5 years of experience.
  • Proven track record in developing, debugging, and optimizing real-time software, with expertise in C, Matlab, Python, and C++.
  • Experience identifying and solving complex problems using creative solutions, including algorithmic and codebase reorganization.
  • Strong understanding of biomechanics, human locomotion, and augmentation, with experience in human subject testing and data collection.
  • Expertise in at least two of the following areas: implementation and architecture, mechanics, machine learning, electromechanical control, or technical project management and planning.
