We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Test Engineer to join our team at TUV Rheinland of North America. This role offers a competitive salary of $110,000 - $140,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities
  • Lead client projects by determining testing methods and selecting equipment, ensuring customer test criteria is correctly interpreted and applied.
  • Perform tests for certification of equipment to domestic or international regulatory standards and advise customers of non-compliance.
  • Develop test strategies and plans to verify standards, compatibility, functionality, performance, and reliability.
  • Report and track defects found during testing, record test data, technical information, and generate test documents and reports.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or a related science field or equivalent education and/or experience.
  • 7 years of test experience evaluating products in accordance with product regulatory standards or 5 years' experience with a bachelor's degree in a related technical field.
  • Experience using automated test tools and testing to NEC, NFPA, UL, CSA, IEC, EN Standards preferred.

  • Office, manufacturing, construction/port, and laboratory environments.
