About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Mobile Echo Technologist to join our team at DispatchHealth Management. As a Mobile Echo Technologist, you will be responsible for performing echocardiography studies in various service locations, following company policies and procedures to ensure high-quality exams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Travel to perform echocardiography studies in various service locations, adhering to company protocols and procedures.
  • Collect and verify all required order documentation and patient information prior to procedures.
  • Prepare and position patients for diagnostic imaging exams, ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Operate portable ultrasonic equipment with cardiac capabilities, processing images and reviewing for proper identification and quality control.
  • Transmit images and associated documentation to cardiologists in a timely manner, maintaining accurate records and logs.
  • Assist with order taking, validation of studies, communication with reading cardiologists, customer call-backs, and other administrative and customer support functions as directed.
  • Perform other related duties and special projects as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • Meet all state-specific and federal requirements for training, education, competency, certification, and state license to perform as a Mobile Echo Technologist.
  • Hold an Adult Cardiac Sonographer certification with a satisfactory completion of an accredited non-invasive cardiovascular training program, focusing on adult echocardiography and/or vascular ultrasound studies.
  • Be ARDMS registered in adult echocardiography with RDCS (AE) designation or CCI registered with Cardiac Sonographer designation.
  • Have two years' experience as a cardiac sonographer or vascular tech, with additional Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) desired.
  • Possess excellent organizational skills, ability to perform quality and compete echocardiogram studies, and a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Be able to work a varied schedule that may require evenings, holidays, and weekends.
