Job Description

The successful candidate will support the employee and labor relations to further position HR as a strategic business partner. Key responsibilities include implementing and administering effective programs spanning the breadth of the HR function, including labor/employee relations, onboarding, recruitment/employment, policy implementation, training, benefit administration, and employment law compliance.

You will also manage workers' compensation claims by filing first reports of injuries and coordinating return-to-work initiatives. Additionally, you will support team members with disability and FMLA claims by partnering with third-party disability carriers. The ideal candidate will assist the HR Leader in the daily management of union production team members and provide support to managers and supervisors regarding labor/employee relations matters across all three shifts.

This role requires high-level organization and communication skills to build relationships through engagement activities within the manufacturing facility. A strong ability to understand business practices and human resources management, analyze problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions is essential. You must adapt easily to changing priorities, function well in a fast-paced environment, and handle a high degree of confidential information.

Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years of work experience in Human Resources
  • Ability to function well with minimal supervision and considerable independence
  • Ability to understand business practices and human resources management
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated computer literacy, and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office and HRIS platforms
  • Knowledge of relevant local, state, and federal labor regulations and agencies

Parker Hannifin offers a competitive salary of $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
