Position Overview:
Under general supervision, the Registered Behavior Technician/Behavior Support Specialist is tasked with providing support to children with disabilities in various environments, including clinics, homes, and community settings.

Key Responsibilities:
- Focus on Data Collection, Implementation of ABA Techniques, and Data Entry into behavior tracking systems
- Assist in preparing instructional materials, including data sheets and visual supports
- Organize session materials in advance to align with specific client objectives
- Utilize ABA principles and methodologies to modify targeted behaviors effectively
- Maintain accurate records of hours worked and adhere to supervision requirements set by the BACB
- Document student behavior in real-time, including ABC data, skill acquisition, behavior reduction, and session notes
- Competently write Behavior Emergency Reports (BER) and Special Incident Reports (SIR) as necessary
- Collaborate with agency staff regarding student progress and the need for additional behavior strategies
- Address immediate safety concerns for students, including implementing CPI when required
- Exhibit flexibility to work with different students or locations within the designated region, as needed
- Potentially assist in training new behavior technicians
- Once registered with the BACB, work closely with the BCBA to accumulate necessary hours for maintaining registration
- Engage in assessment, planning, and evaluation processes
Requirements:
- TB Testing & Physical Exam Authorization Form (TB results accepted if taken within 60 days of hire)
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent from an accredited institution
- Valid CPR/First Aid Certificate or BLS Certificate
- COVID-19 Vaccination Card, if applicable
