Key Responsibilities

As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will:

  • Oversee Speech Language Pathology services for patients with acute medical conditions affecting cognitive, swallowing, or language abilities.
  • Document evaluations and treatment modifications, ensuring accurate records of patient progress.
  • Assess the effectiveness of therapeutic interventions and collaborate with support staff.
  • Engage with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care.
Qualifications

To qualify for this position, you should possess:

  • A Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology.
  • A valid Speech Language Pathologist License from the Texas State Board.
  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech and Hearing Association.
  • Preferred experience of at least one year in a relevant Speech Therapy setting.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
