Cleveland Clinic is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate RN New Grad Colorectal Surgery to join our team. As a member of our nursing staff, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced caregivers and provide patient-first healthcare in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Responsibilities
  • Participate in a residency core curriculum based on individual learning needs.
  • Provide direct nursing care, alongside a coach, in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization.
  • Initiate and/or maintain interventions to assure continuity of safe/effective care for patients.
  • Seek supervision, consultation, assistance when unable to perform safely and independently.
  • Comply with established hospital/department personnel policies.
  • Use communication strategies in order to achieve desirable outcomes.
  • Document in patient's medical record according to established guidelines.
Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
  • BSN preferred.
  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association (AHA).
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) through American Heart Association (AHA) upon hire or within one year of beginning work in the Emergency Department.
