Key Responsibilities:
  • Process financial transactions, post payments to customer accounts, and verify accuracy of payments.
  • Respond to customer concerns and complaints over the phone and in person, and assist with technical support of parking applications, pay stations, and web payments.
  • Determine applicants' qualifications for county permits based on department policy, issue permits, and perform related work as required.
  • Receive and process payments and fees by collecting monies, issuing receipts, and entering data into computer balancing cash drawer and making deposits.
Requirements:
  • High School graduation or GED equivalent supplemented by one year of experience in customer service, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, bookkeeping, accounting, or related field.
  • Valid state driver's license with an acceptable driving history.
Work Environment:

Sedentary work that involves walking or standing some of the time and involves exerting up to 10 pounds of force on a regular and recurring basis or sustained keyboard operations.
