Key Responsibilities- Provide Direct Patient Care: Deliver nephrology care to patients with end-stage renal failure or chronic kidney disease, utilizing your expertise in hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, CRRT, and apheresis.
- Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Team: Work closely with physicians, PCTs, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Monitor and Document Patient Progress: Conduct regular patient assessments, record vital signs, and document patient outcomes to ensure accurate and timely communication with the healthcare team.
- Participate in Quality Improvement Initiatives: Contribute to quality improvement projects and initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Current RN License: Possess a current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Nursing Education: Hold an Associate's Degree in Nursing (A.D.N) from an accredited school of nursing or a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N).
- Experience and Certifications: While not required, experience in ICU, CCU, ER, or Med Surg settings, as well as certifications like CNN or CDN, are highly valued.
