Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the overall technical relationship with designated accounts.
  • Craft proposals and high-level designs in collaboration with Solutions Architects.
  • Identify business and technical requirements for client opportunities.
  • Act as the technical representative in all internal sales meetings.
  • Draft Statements of Work (SOW) for all professional services engagements.
  • Contribute to the strategy for responding to Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
  • Acquire and maintain necessary vendor certifications to meet Insight's certification goals.
  • Provide regular updates to management regarding time allocation, revenue, billable activities, and services rendered.
  • Monitor ongoing opportunities, preparing weekly reports on revenue, gross profit, and services related to the Architect's efforts.

Qualifications for Success

  • Proficient knowledge of cloud technologies.
  • Experience with various storage solutions.
  • Understanding of Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity principles.
  • Strong grasp of Automation and Orchestration technologies.
  • Broad technology background with a focus on data center technologies and familiarity with cloud hyper-scalers.
  • Adept at analyzing complex business and technical challenges to formulate Insight proposals.
  • Relevant academic degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Industry or vendor certifications in two or more Insight practice areas.
  • Excellent communication skills, including presence in meetings and peer leadership capabilities.
