About the Role

Dunmor is seeking a highly motivated and customer-centric Loan Originator to join our team. As a key member of our commercial lending team, you will be responsible for identifying and capitalizing on new lending opportunities within the investor residential real estate sector.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Sales Focus and Relationship Building:
    • Establish and strengthen relationships with property investors, brokers, and real estate agents to drive sales and identify new lending opportunities.
    • Pre-qualify loan requests, determine proper loan structure, and create quotes and term sheets for potential clients.
  2. Loan Processing Facilitation:
    • Facilitate the borrower approval process by collecting and providing necessary information required for submission to the loan processing department.
  3. Pipeline Management:
    • Effectively manage and prioritize a dynamic pipeline of potential clients and loan applications, ensuring timely follow-ups and updates to meet established targets.
    • Develop and maintain a comprehensive client database within the CRM system, ensuring effective utilization of contact management tools and customer relationship management practices.
  4. Interdepartmental Collaboration:
    • Foster strong partnerships with leaders in Processing, Underwriting, Valuations, and other departments, prioritizing the loan pipeline and collaborating to overcome any interdepartmental roadblocks.
  5. Industry Events and Networking:
    • Attend industry events and conferences, employing strategic pre-planning, onsite meetings, and post-event outreach to identify and convert leads.
Qualifications
  1. Current or past experience working for Dunmor's direct competitor.
  2. Proven track record of achieving $3 million or more in monthly origination volume in fix/flip, ground-up construction, single-family rental, and/or short-term bridge financing.
  3. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  4. Ability to analyze and organize financial information and perform financial calculations.
  5. Ability to structure loans according to customer needs and the company's underwriting guidelines.
  6. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
