About the Role

The Administrative Assistant will serve as the primary administrative role in most of Park Lawn's individual business locations, responsible for performing various administrative and accounting tasks to ensure smooth business operations and exceed client expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Answering telephone calls and providing information or routing calls to relevant personnel
  • Greeting and escorting visitors and their guests
  • Performing accounting tasks (AP/AR), inventory management, and account reconciliation
  • Updating timekeeping systems and preparing daily deposit reports and reconciliations
  • Processing and coding invoices for payment and researching any discrepancies
  • Receiving and recording payments from client families and scheduling appointments
  • Composing and typing correspondence as needed and compiling statistical data
  • Inputting data into operating systems accurately and timely and assisting with paperwork and scheduling
  • Scanning, copying, and printing as required and maintaining files and related systems
  • Serving as a backup in other administrative functions as needed

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
  • Minimum two years of administrative or general accounting experience or demonstrated knowledge and skills required for job duties
  • Valid state-issued driver's license in good standing and acceptable driving record
Compensation Package

We offer an estimated annual salary range of $45,000 - $60,000 based on location and experience.
