Position Summary
The Aesthetic Sales Specialist (ASS) serves as a vital support role aimed at expanding the aesthetic market while assisting the designated Sales division. The ASS is accountable for driving sales performance in alignment with the respective Aesthetic business unit (Facial) and Inside Sales team. Responsibilities include enhancing sales revenue through effective management of house accounts, nurturing leads in designated regions, and addressing inquiries from non-target accounts. Additionally, the ASS will provide coverage for Inside Sales territories experiencing a Leave of Absence (LOA) or vacancy.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver training on AbbVie Aesthetics products and programs via virtual education, utilizing marketing tools to boost awareness and understanding of the aesthetic market and AbbVie brands.
- Foster collaboration with sales management and colleagues to meet sales objectives and fulfill customer training and support needs.
- Facilitate sales through a model primarily based on phone and virtual communication, demonstrating strong multitasking abilities in a dynamic environment.
- Independently manage sales activities within an assigned geography, maintaining professionalism and effective interactions with customers, sales teams, and upper management.
- Conduct work in compliance with all internal and regulatory requirements, ensuring adherence to ethics, environmental health and safety, and business policies.
Sales Techniques
Employ competitive Inside Sales strategies to achieve sales targets, focusing on market and product growth while enhancing customer experience. Efficiently plan sales calls and manage time to ensure optimal customer engagement and service quality within the assigned geography.
Account Management
Provide support to accounts in LOA or vacant territories, maintaining consistent communication with management and peers to ensure sales goals are met and customer satisfaction is prioritized. Responsibilities include assisting new accounts, managing existing customer relationships, and executing marketing initiatives.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service or sales, with a Bachelor's degree required. Strong organizational skills, independence, and effective communication abilities are essential. A proven track record in sales performance or exceptional customer service is preferred, with at least one year of experience in the aesthetic industry.
Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of aesthetics and customer service practices.
- Familiarity with clinical and surgical procedures, as well as medical terminology.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and database software.
- Ability to effectively communicate with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
- Capability to work independently and manage multiple projects while delivering high-quality customer service.
