The Midwest Peterbilt Group is seeking a skilled Truck Inventory Coordinator to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and have excellent organizational skills.

About the Role:

  • This position involves coordinating the flow of information and preparation of documents related to new and used truck inventory, sales, and maintenance.
  • You will work closely with Sales Representatives to ensure accurate and up-to-date information is maintained, enabling them to achieve high gross profits.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Assist customers when sales representatives are unavailable.
  2. Answer calls and take messages for sales representatives when they are on phone calls or out of the building.
  3. Communicate with Sales and Business Managers on all sales-related matters.
  4. Set up new and used truck files.
  5. Record truck specifications in Procede.
  6. Maintain inventory records of status on new and used trucks from time received until sold.
  7. File internal repair orders and parts tickets on all trucks.
  8. Prepare new and used truck inventory reports.
  9. Update truck status in Procede.
  10. Obtain pay-offs and titles on used truck trade-ins.
  11. Process title assignments for customers.
  12. Prepare deposits for trucks sold.
  13. Send Statements of Account (SOA) and deposit copies to Corporate.
  14. Collect sales recap reports for trucks sold and send files to Sioux City Corporate office.
  15. Coordinate truck transfers in and out of the store and fax requests to Corporate office.
  16. Review paperwork with customers at delivery time.
  17. File correspondence and other records related to truck sales.
  18. Type truck purchase agreements, routine correspondence, and associated paperwork on trucks sold.
  19. Prepare truck folders for closing.
  20. Prepare warranty folder copies when trucks are sold.
  21. Prepare finance contracts and customer credit information as needed.
  22. Reconcile daily sales to cash received and prepare departmental deposits.
  23. Record petty cash expenditures.

Requirements:

  • A High School Diploma is required.
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills are necessary for success in this role.

Estimated Salary: $40,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.
