About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Probe Card Applications Engineer to join our team at Translarity, Inc. As a key member of our technical support team, you will provide expert technical support and service directly to customers with new probe card installations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support and service for product installations
  • Travel to customer locations as needed to resolve technical issues
  • Work under a microscope to review and rework components
  • Debug product issues with the manufacturing team
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot both mechanical and electrical issues down to the component level
  • Provide technical feedback from manufacturing to engineering teams
  • Make product suggestions based on customer needs and requirements
  • Clearly communicate with internal and external customers
  • Make suggestions for process improvements
  • Troubleshoot issues to determine root cause and make recommendations
  • Represent the company in a professional manner

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role at a major probe card manufacturer
  • Read and interpret electronic schematics
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination under a microscope
  • Ability to perform comprehensive root cause analysis
  • Working knowledge of probers and testers in the ATE industry
  • Working knowledge of metrology tooling
  • Proficient with MSOffice products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Ability to think clearly while working in high-stress environments with demanding deadlines
  • Ability to work in a class 10 cleanroom environment
  • Ability to lift 50lbs
