Host/Hostess

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Host/Hostess to join our team at the Hilton Garden Inn Haymarket. As a Host/Hostess, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere that sets the tone for their dining experience.

The Host/Hostess will be responsible for greeting and seating guests, ensuring a quality dining experience, and supervising the activities of the dining room. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and are looking to advance their careers in the hospitality industry.

• Greet and seat guests, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of the dining room
• Ensure a quality dining experience for all guests
• Communicate effectively with servers, managers, and the kitchen to ensure seamless service
• Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the dining area

• High school diploma or equivalent experience
• Three to six months of experience in a food and beverage services environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds
