COMPETITIVE STARTING SALARY OF $24.62 PER HOUR, BASED ON EXPERIENCE

We are seeking dedicated Emergency Medical Technicians who are committed to providing exceptional, high-quality care and both basic and advanced medical assistance to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate each emergency situation to identify the most effective response while adhering to advanced EMT protocols.
  • Apply your EMT expertise with medical apparatus and procedures, including defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen and suction devices, and intravenous therapies to deliver advanced medical support.
  • Engage with patients and their families to offer updates and reassurance regarding the care being administered.
  • Serve as the team leader for EMT operations, overseeing scene management and unit coordination as required.
  • Operate the ambulance during emergency responses.
  • Collaborate professionally with all healthcare and public safety personnel, as well as fellow EMTs.
Additional Duties:
  • Participate in community outreach initiatives to uphold AMR's reputation and foster strong community ties.
Required Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • State EMT Certification
  • Valid State Driver's License
  • BLS, ACLS, NREMT-EMT Certification
  • Driving record in accordance with company standards
  • Successful completion of Physical Agility Test
  • Relevant work experience, preferably in a healthcare setting
