Job Summary

The Laboratory Manager of the Core Lab will provide leadership to the management of the Laboratory, reporting directly to the Laboratory Director. This position is responsible for Laboratory Services, including Chemistry, Hematology, and Core Lab services. The successful candidate will develop and coordinate the Safety program for the department, providing recommendations and technical oversight.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement Laboratory Services, including Chemistry, Hematology, and Core Lab services.
  • Provide leadership to the management of the Laboratory, reporting directly to the Laboratory Director.
  • Develop and coordinate the Safety program for the department, providing recommendations and technical oversight.
  • Ensure compliance with external regulations and guidelines.
  • Supervise and manage laboratory staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in medical technology from an accredited medical technology program.
  • Core Lab experience required.
  • Strong management experience, with a proven track record of success.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, with a minimum of six years of laboratory experience.
  • Certification as a Medical Technologist (ASCP/NCA).
