We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Physician to join our team at MRG Exams, a leading provider of independent medical examinations. This role offers an exceptional opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of United States Veterans.

Job Summary

We are looking for a board-certified Physiatrist with a specialization in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) to conduct comprehensive, non-treating assessments of veterans. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, be proficient in digital documentation, and possess excellent time management abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive, non-treating assessments of veterans to document current health conditions.
  • Review and analyze veterans' medical records through a secure web portal.
  • Complete and submit Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) based on VA-specific templates to capture all relevant medical findings.
  • Ensure that all DBQs are thorough, accurate, and submitted within 24 hours of the assessment.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Dedicated to serving veterans and making a positive impact in their lives.
  • Motivated to perform independent medical assessments in a non-treating, investigative role.
  • Proficient in analyzing and synthesizing data from comprehensive medical records and physical assessments.

Requirements:

  • Active MD or DO license with a specialization in PM&R.
  • Board certification in Neurological Surgery, PM&R, or Psychiatry and Neurology is preferred.
  • Strong typing skills and attention to detail are essential.

Schedule: Minimum 2 days/week travel around ND, additional telehealth days available.
