At MRG Exams West, we're seeking a highly skilled Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Specialist to join our team. As a specialist in this field, you will play a crucial role in performing medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a PM&R physician who is interested in performing Independent Medical Assessments versus traditional patient care and treatment. In this role, you will review medical health records through a secure Web Portal and conduct comprehensive assessments on each veteran. You will also complete Disability Benefit Questionnaires (DBQs) through the Web Portal, documenting exam findings needed by the VA.

This position requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in electronic documentation, and typing skills. You must be able to analyze data from medical records and exam findings to complete DBQs and form medical opinions. Additionally, you should have excellent time management skills, be able to stay on task, and meet requirements.

Requirements
  • Must hold a current license as a Physiatrist
  • Must be Board Certified in either Neurological Surgery, PM&R, or Psychiatry and Neurology

We estimate that this role can earn around $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience. If you're passionate about serving veterans and have the necessary qualifications, we encourage you to apply.
