Position Overview:

Chipton-Ross is seeking multiple Engineering Test Technician 2 professionals for a contract opportunity. The role involves supporting various engineering functions through testing and evaluation processes.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Report to the Operations Test Engineering Manager and execute test protocols.
  • Perform post-test data analysis and compile reports for engineering teams.
  • Take ownership of tasks throughout the product lifecycle, including development, production, and testing.
  • Provide technical assistance to engineers across diverse projects.
  • Implement detailed component and system-level testing plans and procedures.
  • Engage in test planning and readiness assessments.
  • Evaluate measurement criteria and equipment tolerances.
  • Establish and uphold documented best practices for testing methodologies and equipment.
  • Contribute to the enhancement of testing infrastructure and equipment.
  • Collect, organize, and process technical data, including test results and design modifications.
  • Conduct tests and document findings to support engineering evaluations.
  • Maintain accurate engineering documentation and reports.
  • Address internal and external customer requirements.
  • Identify and resolve testing issues, assisting manufacturing and engineering teams.
  • Analyze data and generate reports in various formats for stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent is necessary. Familiarity with Laser Tracking Software, such as Spatial Analyzer, is preferred.


Educational Background:

A high school diploma or GED from an accredited institution is required.


Work Schedule:

This position follows a 9/80 work week structure.
